Kudos to organizers of George Reed Foundation Mosaic Gala

Kudos to organizers of last night’s George Reed Foundation Mosaic Gala, presented by Wheatland Roofing.

What a wonderful event!

Event organizer Alison Smith and her committee did an awesome job. And the staff at The Diplomat ensured everyone was pampered all evening..

Bob Hughes demonstrated once again why he’s considered such a popular choice as MC at sports-related social events.

Not sure how much was raised yet. Alison told me at the end of the evening that she’d be tallying things up today. So check back for an update.

Alison and her husband Mike Smith, owner/operators of Wheatland Roofing, certainly did their part to guarantee a successful fundraiser. Not only did they work hard organizing the event, they also supported the fundraiser by bidding highest on numerous auction items. Way to go, Alison and Mike!

Proceeds from the gala — the second annual — go to The George Reed Foundation, which works to help disabled, disadvantaged and disengaged individuals.
