Guarantee Details
Classic Series
These guarantees are provided by Wheatland Roofing Inc. ("Wheatland Roofing"). They are in addition to any applicable manufacturer warranties. Please consult your manufacturer's warranty for additional coverage details. This document is available for review at the time of contracting with Wheatland Roofing.
Guarantees
- Workmanship Guarantee -Wheatland Roofing guarantees that all installation work will be free from defects due to workmanship for 10 years from the date of installation.
- Glass Panel Guarantee - If a glass panel in a window installed by Wheatland Roofing is accidentally broken, we will provide a replacement panel at no cost to you for 5 years from the date of installation.
- Screen Mesh Guarantee - If the screen mesh of a window screen installed by Wheatland Roofing is accidentally torn, we will replace the screen mesh at no charge for 5 years from the date of installation. Note: This guarantee does not cover damage to the screen frame.
How to Submit a claim >
Important: Claims must be submitted promptly after discovery of the issue and within the guarantee period. A service fee may apply for non-guarantee claims or if the issue is not covered. Fees will be disclosed before scheduling an inspection.
Limitations of Liability
Our liability under these guarantees is limited to the original purchase price paid for the products and services. We are not responsible for:
- Incidental or consequential damages unless required by law.
- Pre-existing conditions, homeowner negligence, or damage caused by lack of maintenance.
- Damage covered by or typically covered under a homeowner's insurance policy.
- Issues related to hazardous materials such as mold, asbestos, or lead.
Note: Some exclusions may not apply in certain jurisdictions. This warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may have other rights under the The Consumer Protection and Business Practices Act of Saskatchewan.
What Voids These Guarantees
These guarantees will be voided if:
- Products are altered, repaired, or reinstalled by someone other than Wheatland Roofing.
- Full payment under the original sales agreement, including any addenda, has not been received.
Screen Mesh Replacement Requirements
For screen mesh guarantee claims:
- The screen mesh must be brought to our office for repair.
- If transportation assistance is required, shipping or pickup services may be arranged for an additional fee
Remedies
If we determine a replacement is needed and the original product is no longer available, we will provide a replacement of equivalent quality. Replacement does not renew the guarantee period. If we issue a refund at our discretion, all further guarantees under this agreement will be considered fulfilled.

Deluxe Series
These guarantees are provided by Wheatland Roofing Inc. ("Wheatland Roofing"). They supplement, but do not replace, any applicable manufacturer warranties. For details on third-party product coverage, please refer to the specific manufacturer's warranty documentation. This warranty document is available for review at the time of contracting with D'Angelo and Sons.
Warranty Coverage
- Manufacturing Defects - Wheatland Roofing guarantees that all products and components provided by Wheatland Roofing will be free of manufacturing defects for as long as you, the original homeowner, reside in the home.
- Workmanship - Wheatland Roofing guarantees that all installation work performed will be free of workmanship defects for as long as you, the original homeowner, reside in the home.
- Glass Breakage - If a panel of glass in a window installed by Wheatland Roofing is accidentally broken, D'Angelo and Sons will replace the panel at no charge to you, the original homeowner.
- Screen Mesh Damage - If a window screen mesh installed by Wheatland Roofing is accidentally torn, Wheatland Roofing will replace the screen mesh free of charge. This coverage applies to the screen mesh only and does not include the screen frame.
Exclusions
This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from and installed by Wheatland Roofing. It does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, accidents, or conditions covered under your homeowner's insurance.
- Pre-existing conditions in the home (e.g., humidity issues causing condensation).
- Minor color or texture variations between product lots.
- Damage resulting from hazardous materials, such as mold, asbestos, or lead.
- Repairs, tampering, or installation by unauthorized parties, which voids this warranty.
Limitations of Liability
Wheatland Roofing's liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price paid under the sales agreement. Wheatland Roofing shall not be liable for any incidental, special, indirect, or consequential damages, except as prohibited by Saskatchewan law. This warranty provides specific legal rights. Additional rights may vary depending on your jurisdiction.

- Screen Mesh Damage - If a window screen mesh installed by Wheatland Roofing is accidentally torn, Wheatland Roofing will replace the screen mesh free of charge. This coverage applies to the screen mesh only and does not include the screen frame.

Warranty Transfer
This warranty is transferable once to a subsequent homeowner, subject to the following conditions:
- Initiating the Transfer
- ContactWheatland Roofing at (905) 387-3000 to request a Warranty Transfer Application Form.
- Transfer Timing and Fees
- If the application is submitted within 90 days of the home sale, the transfer is free, subject to inspection or a waiver of inspection by Wheatland Roofing.
- For applications submitted after 90 days, a transfer fee of 10% of the original contract price will apply.
- Provide proof of the home sale, such as a fully executed sale agreement or land title transfer documentation.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim
To request warranty service, you may:

Please submit your claim promptly after discovering the defect. Include a detailed description and any supporting photographs of the issue. If an inspection is necessary, Wheatland Roofing may charge a disclosed service fee, which will be communicated to you beforehand.
Wheatland Roofing will respond to your claim within a reasonable timeframe and, if required, schedule an inspection of the premises. Should replacement be necessary, and the original product is no longer available, Wheatland Roofing reserves the right to substitute a product of comparable quality. Replacement of any product does not extend the warranty period.
